Child Trust Fund - United Kingdom

The UK’s Child Trust Fund grants a special savings account to all children born on or after September 1, 2002. Children receive a deposit from the government and additional deposits at age 7 and in secondary school are under consideration. In addition, contributions can be made by friends, family, and the accountholder. Savings can be made for any purpose. The account cannot be accessed until the child reaches 18.
