Lifetime Savings Account (LiSA) (proposed) - United Kingdom

The Conservative party in the United Kingdom has proposed Lifetime Savings Accounts (LiSAs), which would be a universal matched savings account. Savings could be withdrawn at any time, or saved until retirement. Savers who withdraw funds before retirement would need to replenish their accounts within a year to keep all of their matching funds, otherwise these matching funds will fall by 10 percent of the amount withdrawn each year until the matched is completely rescinded or the accountholder pays the money back.
