"The Dark Side of Saving: Maintenance of Value in non-OECD Countries"

This presentation was given in June 2007 by J.D. Von Pischke, chairman of Frontier Finance International, the Washington office of two German firms: ProCredit Holding and IPC, a consulting firm. In the presentation, Von Pischke discusses how savers in non-OECD countries can lose parts of their savings due to macroeconomic shocks. He goes on to propose possible ways to mitigate savers' losses.
